The Fleurs d’Auteuil collection reinterprets one of the very first patterns created in 1873 at the Atelier d’Auteuil, Haviland’s creative studio under the artistic direction of Félix Bracquemond.
The composition brings together 12 distinct flowers: double roses, tulips, bearded irises, carnations, poppies, forget-me-nots, bellflowers… A botanical paradise rooted in the history of the Atelier’s neighbourhood, which Léon Pallandre undoubtedly drew inspiration from.
A pioneer of chromolithography on coloured paper, this pattern broke away from the rigid, symmetrical compositions of its time. Today, it reveals the full depth of its colours on the new scalloped Séraphine shape.
