HAVILAND INAUGURATES ITS NEW BOUTIQUE ON RUE DE GRENELLE

Haviland is opening a new boutique at 46 rue de Grenelle, in the heart of Paris’s 7th arrondissement. Located in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, an emblematic district of culture and creation, this address invites visitors to immerse themselves in the world of the Maison, between porcelain, the art of the table, and decorative objects.

Inspired by artists’ studios of the late 19th century and reinterpreted with a contemporary eye, this new setting illustrates the renewal of Maison Haviland, remaining faithful to its savoir-faire while asserting its creative boldness.

Designed as a place of inspiration, the boutique creates a dialogue between Haviland’s artistic heritage and its contemporary momentum. Modernism and abstraction, classicism and neoclassicism, as well as Orientalism and exoticism, echo one another through emblematic collections such as Souffle d’Or, Infini, Impératrice Eugénie, Louveciennes, Dammouse, and Rêves du Nil.

HAVILAND COMES ABOARD THE CORINTHIAN ORIENT EXPRESS

140 years after the launch of its first exceptional trains, the Orient Express opens a new chapter in its history with the Corinthian, the world’s largest sailing yacht. This unique vessel, combining maritime prowess, art de vivre, and French savoir-faire, extends the mythical aura of the Orient Express to the seas.

A historic partner of the Orient Express since the era of the legendary trains, Haviland is accompanying this new adventure by creating several table services on board, notably for the gastronomic restaurant La Table de l’Orient Express. These exclusive creations, developed with Maxime d’Angeac Studio, enhance the culinary experience orchestrated by Yannick Alléno, where each meal becomes an exceptional moment, combining haute gastronomy, elegance, and the French art of the table.

Haviland is also reviving one of its emblematic decors with the reissue of Suzanne Lalique’s Rail decor, originally produced by the manufactory at the time. A refined tribute to the history of the Orient Express and to the excellence of the French decorative arts.

HAVILAND AT MAD PARIS

On the occasion of the exhibition “1925–2025: One Hundred Years of Art Deco,” presented at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris from October 22, 2025, to April 26, 2026, Haviland is accompanying the revival of the Orient Express and reaffirming its historic connection to the French art of living.

Celebrating the centenary of Art Deco, the exhibition at MAD Paris notably highlights the creative work carried out with Maxime d’Angeac Studio around the Orient Express. Exclusive creations for Yannick Alléno’s table, historic reissues of decors by Suzanne Lalique, and original collections created for all of the dining venues are presented, showcasing Haviland’s savoir-faire and its ability to bring together heritage, contemporary creation, and French excellence.

Haviland is also featured throughout the exhibition, from floor to floor, through creations by Suzanne Lalique, Raoul Dufy, and Jean Luce. These pieces enter into dialogue with works and furniture by the great masters of the period, such as Jacques-Émile Ruhlmann and André Groult, recalling the essential role of the manufactory in the history of decorative arts and Art Deco.

HAVILAND ENHANCES NINA MÉTAYER’S CREATIONS

On the occasion of the press presentation of Nina Métayer’s Christmas creations and Epiphany cake, Haviland accompanied the refined universe of the pastry chef by highlighting two of its collections: Rêves du Nil Pourpre and Louveciennes.

In the private salons of La Samaritaine, a landmark of Parisian heritage recently restored, the presentation unfolded in a subtle balance between heritage, creation, and art de vivre.

Between exceptional pastry and the art of the table, this encounter celebrates the natural dialogue between savoir-faire, creativity, and elegance. The graphic and colorful lines of Rêves du Nil Pourpre, inspired by ancient Egypt, respond to the classical delicacy of Louveciennes, offering these gourmet creations a porcelain setting that is both decorative and sensory.

THE FORGOTTEN KILN, MEMORY OF THE HAVILAND MANUFACTURE

The restoration of the Théodore Haviland kiln, the last witness to our historic manufacture founded in 1842, preserves a major symbol of the rise of Limoges porcelain.

Threatened with disappearance in 2019, this kiln was preserved thanks to the commitment of the association Espace Porcelaine, the Fondation du Patrimoine through the Mission Bern, and the French Ministry of the Interior, which owns the site.
