Created by Haviland in 1893 as a tribute to the grand salon of the Élysée Palace, Salon Murat features noble neoclassical gold relief friezes, in the style of the First Empire.
With its original crescent shape, this plate is placed beside the main plate to serve salad or side dishes, in the tradition of Oriental tables.
