Designed by the artist Rouard for Maison Haviland, the Vieux Paris Vert collection draws inspiration from the decorations of Parisian manufactories at the end of the 18th century, often featuring garlands of gilded leaves, laurel wreaths, and blue and ruby cornflowers. A raised green shagreen ribbon and two gold borders complete this graceful and perfectly balanced composition. Vieux Paris Vert is characteristic of the designs that built the reputation and global renown of Limoges porcelain in the 20th century.
